Configuring Field Settings
Who is this article for?Users who are configuring Customer Complaints.
Manufacturer Userpermissions are required.
Field Settings let you configure which fields will be visible on the complaint, and which of those fields will be mandatory for the complainant to fill out. This guide will show you how to access and change the settings.
1. Field Settings
To access field settings:
- Expand the Customer Complaints menu.
- Click Settings & Templates.
- Select Field Settings from the list.
You will be taken to an overview of the current configuration.
2. Show/Hide Fields
To show a field, toggle the option on (blue).
To hide a field, toggle the option off (grey).
You can change the setting for multiple fields at a time.
Once you are happy with the setup, click Save. You will see a pop-up in the top-right of the page, confirming that your changes have been saved.
3. Mandatory Fields
To make a field mandatory, toggle the option on (blue).
To make a field optional, toggle the option on (grey).
As with showing and hiding fields, you can change the setting for multiple fields at a time.
After clicking Save, you will see a pop-up in the top-right of the page, confirming that your changes have been saved.
