Configuring Customisable Field Settings
Who is this article for?Users who are configuring Customer Complaints.
Manufacturer Userpermissions are required.
Customisable Field Settings allow you to create tailored fields to include in your complaint forms in case the preset fields do not account for all questions you'd like the complainant to answer. This guide will walk you through how to set them up.
1. Customisable Field Settings
To access custom field settings:
- Expand the Customer Complaints menu.
- Click Settings & Templates.
- Select Customisable Field Settings from the list.
You will be taken to an overview of the current configuration.
2. Managing Questions
Adding Questions
To add questions:
- Click Add New Question.
This will generate the question fields at the bottom of your field list. - Select the Field Type from the first dropdown.
- Enter your Question into the free text field.
- Click Save.
Removing Questions
To remove a question, click the bin icon and confirm the deletion in the pop-up.
3. Show/Hide Fields
To show a field, toggle the option on (blue).
To hide a field, toggle the option off (grey).
You can change the setting for multiple fields at a time.
Once you are happy with the setup, click Save.
4. Mandatory Fields
To make a field mandatory, toggle the option on (blue).
To make a field optional, toggle the option on (grey).
You can change the setting for multiple fields at a time.
Remember to click Save after setting up your fields before navigating away from the page!
