Changing Specification Answers

Changing your specification answers allows you to update and modify the information provided for product specifications. This flexibility is essential for keeping data accurate, reflecting changes in products, and ensuring compliance with evolving quality and safety standards in the food industry.
1. Changing Specification Answers
- For documents that have specification questions clicking Change Answers allows you to access a list of all questions, along with the answers you've already supplied for that specific customer.
Tip: You can use either option, Change Answers or Answer Outstanding Questions, to respond to any pending questions.
- A new window will appear with the details of the outstanding questions.
- Expand the drop file drop downs until you find the questions you need want to change.
- Click on a questionnaire, in this instance, "1 - Packaging Name" is chosen.
- A series of questions will appear for you to answer/change.
- If you'd like to add a comment, once you've entered your text, be sure to click Comment.
Note: Once you have clicked the Comment box your comment cannot be deleted or edited.
- Once you've finished answering the questions, click Next & Save.
- There may be more than one page of questions to answer, so you can choose from the three options above.
Important: When you have answered every question and selected N/A to questions that do not apply to your site will automatically take you to an Approve and Submit page.
2. Changing Building Your Recipe Answers
- For documents that have recipe table answers clicking Change Answers allows you to access a list of all questions, along with the answers you've already supplied for that specific customer.
- A window will appear with the details of the questionnaire.
- It will detail if you have any outstanding questions in this section, along with the list of all the question sections below it.
- Click Build Your Recipe to edit.
- Any outstanding cells will appear in red.
Important: Use the scroll bar to navigate the whole length of the recipe table.
- If you move your mouse cursor over any red-highlighted text in the allergen declaration statement, a tooltip will appear to provide an explanation for why that section requires modification.
- Once you've finished, click Save.
