Submitting specifications involves providing detailed information about a product or process, typically for assessment and approval within a quality or compliance system, then submitting it to the customer. This process is essential for ensuring that products meet the necessary standards and regulatory requirements in the food industry.
1. Submitting a Specification
- To submit a specification, select the "To Complete Outstanding Specifications Click Here" link.
- Once you have answered all the necessary mandatory questions in the questionnaire, a link called "Ready to Submit" should appear in the list of documents.
- This will redirect you to another window where you can approve and submit your specification.
- There are three options to choose from:
- Copy - copy a completed specification to another product.
- Download/Print - download and print the completed specification.
- Submit - to submit the completed specification and relevant attachments to the customer.
- When you are ready, click Submit.
- A warranty statement will appear, tick to confirm.
- Finally, click Submit again and you should be returned to the main specifications screen with the below message:
